KYIV, KYIV, UKRAINE, September 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Ukrainian entrepreneur Maksym Krippa has acquired the International Exhibition Centre (IEC), Ukraine’s largest specialized exhibition complex and one of the largest exhibition venues in Eastern Europe. The acquisition marks another major investment in a Ukrainian asset amid Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

The International Exhibition Centre spans more than 73,000 square meters (786,000 square feet), including nearly 38,700 square meters (416,400 square feet) of exhibition space. The complex comprises four exhibition pavilions, conference halls, and supporting infrastructure designed to accommodate large-scale events.

The IEC hosts professional trade shows, international conferences, congresses, business forums, and cultural events. In 2017, the complex was one of the key venues for the Eurovision Song Contest, further establishing its role as a major international event destination in Ukraine.

The acquisition comes amid Russia’s ongoing full-scale war against Ukraine, which began with Russia’s invasion in February 2022.

According to Maksym Krippa, investment in major Ukrainian assets during wartime is important not only from a business perspective but also as a sign of confidence in the country’s long-term future.

“Investing in Ukraine today is an investment in the country’s future. During a full-scale war, it is especially important to preserve and develop major Ukrainian assets, support jobs and economic activity, and create a foundation for the country’s future recovery,” Krippa said.

Krippa said investments in major infrastructure assets are being made with a long-term perspective and can contribute to the recovery and development of Ukraine’s economy once the war ends.

The IEC has joined the portfolio of assets held by Krippa’s ARS Capital holding company. His business interests span real estate, technology, gaming, and media. Krippa owns esports organization NAVI, game developer GSC Game World, known for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, streaming company Maincast, and mobile game developer Burny Games.

The acquisition of the International Exhibition Centre adds a major exhibition and congress venue to Krippa’s portfolio, with infrastructure capable of hosting large-scale professional, business, cultural, and international events.

The investment underscores the growing role of private capital in preserving and developing major Ukrainian infrastructure and business assets during wartime, while laying the groundwork for their further development and integration into the country’s post-war economic recovery.
