Persistent Thief Arrested In Milwaukee Following Ongoing Investigation

An ongoing investigation by the MNPD’s Entertainment District Unit and Warrants Division has led the arrest in Milwaukee of a persistent thief accused of targeting intoxicated men in order to steal from them. Lorraine Luckett, 36, of Wisconsin, is wanted on 10 outstanding warrants for identity theft, credit card fraud, and theft of property after she was identified in three different incidents dating back to 2024 where men had their wallets taken by a woman, who later used them at various locations.

In two incidents this year, Luckett was seen driving the same Hyundai Santa Fe bearing Wisconsin tags. Surveillance footage from bank ATMs and stores also assisted in developing the case against Luckett.

She will be returned to Nashville soon.

This is one of several ongoing investigations into women targeting intoxicated men, as thefts of this nature are a crime of opportunity.
